Report of the HRP Japan-Taiwan Local Assembly Members Group’s Taiwan inspection tour

From Monday, May 12th to Thursday, May 15th, 2025, Happiness Realization Party Secretary-General Masatoshi Enatsu and 19 local assembly members of the party’s Japan-Taiwan Local Assembly Members Group visited Taiwan. This was the second visit to Taiwan as the Local Assembly Members Group.

This time, the visiting members deepened their engagement with assembly members of local government in Tainan City, which is said to be the birthplace of democracy in Taiwan, as well as assembly members in Yilan County. They also made a courtesy visit to the members of Legislative Yuan, which is equivalent to the members of parliament in Japan.

Taiwan is now exposed to the threat of the Chinese Communist Party, and the situation is unpredictable. Each member, who took part in the visit, has reaffirmed their determination to become a “bridge between Japan and Taiwan” and “never abandon Taiwan again.”
