History of the Happiness Realization Party

Since its establishment, the Happiness Realization Party has demonstrated foresight, made plain the nature of the national crisis brought about by the current Democratic Party of Japan administration, and outlined a future vision for Japan. The following is the timeline of the Happiness Realization Party since its establishment.

2009

May Happy Science Utopia Katsudo Suisinkan (Utopia Activities Promotion Building) completion ceremony held.
At the same time, HRP Headquarters moved to Akasaka from Ginza

April Petition with 192,036 signatures submitted to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe protesting China’s application for "Nanjing Massacre" and "comfort women" to be inscribed at the UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) Programme and calling for thorough measures to be taken by the Japanese government
Five official candidates elected in the 18th Unified Local Elections
May Document refuting materials related to "comfort women" (supported by 45 experts) submitted to UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in response to China’s application for "Nanjing Massacre" and "comfort women" to be inscribed at the UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) Programme
June Demonstration held declaring the invalidity of the Kono Statement and Murayama Statement and calling for a statement on the 70 years after World War II that does away with Japan’s masochistic view of history
Press conference held at Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan in order to protest China’s application for inscription of "Nanking Massacre" and "comfort women" in UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) Programme
July Petition with 328,958 signatures submitted to the Cabinet Office declaring invalidity of the Kono Statement and Murayama Statement, and calling for a statement on the 70 years after World War II that does away with Japan’s masochistic view of history
